Q: Can anyone confirm that they come with the patent pending insert to prevent the tequila from getting too salty?

if they are from us in The Spice Lab box they have the inserts..if they are not in our box report them to amazon as fakes and the seller selling fake items on the listing..brett / the spice lab

Q: If one likes to sip their tequila and savor it, will these work or will they dissolve?

There is a plastic liner inside so you can sip the tequila. We have used ours several times and they haven't dissolved yet! Eventually I think they will get thinner but for the price definitely a fun item.

You can drink other types of liquor out of these shot glasses....the question is, how salty do you like your other liquors to be?

I gave them as a gift and briefly looked at them but I think they each are about 2-3 inches higher and 1 inch in diameter.
