No it does not slip over the grip rendering it useless

I put it on an old 7 iron. I didn’t try on on anything else.

Q: Would it help improve the grip for a golfer with arthritis?

This was for my husband who plays golf. He doesn’t think it would make any difference if your arthritis is very bad. But it’s really sorted his grip out though and he’s pleased with the product. Sorry we can’t help you anyomore.
