Mean Girls the novel
Mean Girls is a story of a transfer student Cady Heron who has spent her whole life being home schooled try and make her way and fit into the American high school. Like every classic story, there are cliques like nerds, jocks, cheerleaders, mathletes and so on but the key to this is there are the popular girls. Cady makes her first friends Janice and Damion who give her advice on their idea of how to survive high school but when the most popular girl at school Regina George invited Cady to sit with her and her followers Gretchen and Karen everything starts to just begin for Cady and her high school experience. Cady will go on an undercover mission with Damien and Janice to take down Regina George but what you'll have to read to see what happens when some unexpected bumps in the road head Cady's way like my Cady starts to like Regina, and what if Reginas threatened who knows. Well, I may know but you are just going to have to figure out for yourself where Cady ends up. I would say Comedy is my favorite book Genre and of course this book is perfect as a comedic chick flick book. Cady Heron and Regina George think as I read through this book I thought there would be some slight changes from the movie as most movie-based books I have read like The Hunger Games and The Maze Runner had a few different story plots than the actual Movie but as I finished this book I realized that the book was most likely written after the movie there pretty much every aspect of the story was the same it would just go into more or less detail on certain things as it obviously is not the exact script written down from the movie. But overall if you loved the movie you will love this book as they are 99% the same you could have read or watched this story over and over and still want to come back and read the book again. I definitely would recommend this book to pretty much all ages. Young teen girls especially. This book makes you want to keep on reading and experience along with cady what it's like going through the average everyday stereotypical life of a high school girl.

This novel is very fun to read!!
I read the fiction novel, Mean girls by Micol Ostow. She has written over fifty books for readers of all ages. The movie and the book had some differences but most things were the same. The protagonist is Cady Heron, who moves from Africa to a small town in Illinois. The antagonist is Regina George, who is the most popular and mean girl of North Shore High School. Cady becomes friends with Janice and Damian on the first day of school. Since Cady doesn’t really know anyone at the time other than them, they tell her what an evil and cruel person Regina is. Later that week, Regina invites Cady to sit with them at lunch. Damian and Janice want to see what Regina’s deal is so they make Cady go. Later on in the story, Cady starts to plan schemes with Janice and Damian, on how to make Regina George pay back for everything she’s done. Ever since the first week of school, Cady’s had her eyes on dreamy and intelligent Aaron Samuels who also happened to be Regina’s ex boyfriend. Regina and him got back together at the Halloween party, where Regina embarrassed and lied to cady. At that point, Cady knew Regina needed to be stopped. Everyone was plotting against Regina and it seemed to be working because Regina became weaker by the day. She wanted to lose weight so Cady told her to eat Kalteen Bars, which make you gain weight but Regina didn’t know that. Cady then started to become like one of the Plastics and it was really bothering Janice and Damian to a point where they got into a very bad fight because Cady didn’t invite them to her party. The ending is very intriguing and eye opening. I give the book 5 stars because it has very good Literary Levels and you would never want to stop reading it. It’s the kind of book that really engages readers and is fun to read. I most definitely recommend this novel.

Dirty
I bought the hardcover version - the cover was dusty and have some unknown stain when I got it, I need to wiped it off with tissues and hand sanitizer. In a random page there was a FREAKING PAGE ON A FREAKING RANDOM PAGE stucking, staying COVERING words and when I tried to ripped of the tap the Regina was also going to come off so I decided not to. Would not recommend.

very fun and satisfying to read a book by someone I ...
I am going to fully admit right now that I am extremely biased about this book: Not only am I a huge fan of the 2004 movie penned by Tina Fey but this book adaptation was also written by my former YA writing teacher, Micol Ostow. It was very, very fun and satisfying to read a book by someone I admire and know personally, and I really enjoyed this novel retelling of one of my favorite movies. It had just the right amount of details and different perspectives to add something to the movie while also honoring Tina Fey’s original vision.

Cute Sory
I liked this book even though it is almost exactly the same as the movie. I like how the author used different narrators to tell the story.

It’s ok
This is literally just the book in novel form. It doesn’t expand on anything or any of the characters. It doesn’t even give insight to any characters that we didn’t already know, since we know Cady’s views in the movie. It’s entertaining, but I honestly would recommend watching the movie rather than reading the book. It is a quick read but nothing special.
