A good collection of insights
I picked up this book after I read Charles Duhigg's, "The Power of Habit". This book is packed with good insights and observations on productivity and the appendix ties it all together with a practical example in classic Duhigg style. The only gripe I have is that there are too many concepts packed into a small book. There's enough content in here to write 4-5 separate books, each exploring a unique facet of productivity. Perhaps that's why when you read it all at once it all seems a bit disjointed. Regardless, one can still reap many benefits by focusing on one chapter at a time and supplementing it with a real life action plan to find out which techniques work the best.

Brilliant Read
Interesting set of eight ideas discussed tone Smarter, Faster and Better. These are a set of disjoint tools that a reader can use one, more or all at once. Personally, I loved the topics on innovation, focus and disfluency.Strongly recommended

Thought provoking
This book is so simple to read and understand. It was nicely split into 8 steps and all the examples were described as some real stories which is easy to connect with our own lives,. Tbis is one of the best books I ever read on objective ways to utilise psychology in improving speed and productivity

Worth spending time in reading.
It's good book.. Different type of motivation book with intriguing writing. Author has taken the old concept of message giving story telling art to another level...

Most thought provoking productivity book
Feels like watching a movie when you start a chapter. Introduces concepts very slowly by unravelling events from which insight has been taken for the book. All real life events. Can't put down the book before a chapter is done. And what refreshing and provocative concepts behind each chapter!! Highly recommended

Fascinating case studies but a muddled theme
I loved 'The Power of Habit' and was really excited to read this. In many ways I wasn't disappointed: if there's one thing Charles Duhigg can do, it's write in a fascinating, engaging manner. I was gripped by the various anecdotes given throughout the book, and at times it felt like a series of interesting stories more than anything else. The points made around productivity were interesting, but buried; quite often I found myself wondering how this related to the overall theme of the book (if indeed there was one). Part of me wonders whether Charles just put together an anthology of what might otherwise have been a series of journal articles and attempted to unify them under a theme of 'productivity', but really to me this doesn't ring true. This is more a series of ways to live your life a little better, with accompanying case studies. It is a good, engaging and interesting book, but it seems a little muddled and confused at times.

Great Narratives
Great stories used to illustrate the pertinent points. Tying the lessons to stories actually builds upon one of the lessons in the book: retention is increased by greater engagement. People engage more with stories. Great work.

Excellent real world examples that demonstrate the advice
An excellent review of different tools that can help any individual or group to adopt state of the art efficiency, productivity and performance. The use of gripping novel-like stories to explain the derivation of each theory makes this text an easy read. I completed this on kindle in 5 days.

Seriously superb book!
This is one of those books that everyone should read, like Black Box Thinking and Don't Shoot the Dog. Easy and enjoyably addictive, I read this very fast and came away having taken quite a few notes.

Amazing insight into the methods and techniques
Simply put, this is another great book from Charles Duhigg. The way the subject in question is exposed and demonstrated, leaves one with the immediate reaction of wanting to apply some if not all of the methods explained as soon as possible!
