American rock group Union is a coming together of some of the best names in rock music and a band of pure pedigree. Formed in 1997 the group boasts the musical talents of John Corabi, ex-member of The Scream and Motley Crue (lead vocals and guitar), ex-Kiss guitarist Bruce Kulick, drummer Brent Fitz previously of Theory Of A Deadman and Slash, and bassist Jamie Hunting. The band released their self-titled first album in 1998 which featured two singles Old Man Wise and October Morning Wind . Various versions of this album were produced, with differing track listings and bonus tracks. In 1999 Bruce Bouillet and Bruce Kulick mixed and released Union Live In The Galaxy, a ecletic collection of tracks taken from Union's first album and from the member's previous bands. The Blue Room followed in 2000 accompanied by an extensive tour of Europe, Australia and America but by the end of the year the band had called an end to their union and each member left to pursue outside projects. Despite a brief reunion in 2005 for a Japanese TV show (Eric Singer picked up the sticks in Brent Fitz absence), and a promo-tour for the DVD release of Do Your Own Thing, Union once again disbanded, and as yet, have no plans to reform. This double album features the band's 1999 reissued Union album (compete with the bonus cover track Oh! Darling ) and their 2000 release The Blue Room.
