I got these as a gift for my Girlfriend and she loves them! I call them her Bug Ears, but they really do help when she wants to read at night. I always get on her about reading in low light, but since I bought these I never have to say anything to her anymore! Plus the battery life on them is great, I've probably only charged them 4-5 times in 9 months 100% recommend!

Concert performance

I use my book lights two ways - clipped to a book, and sitting on the nightstand as a little lamp. This light is very nicely aim-able when clipped to a book, and has the typical amber/white light with five brightness options.The base is thick, with a rounded bottom, but not actually that heavy. So the light doesn't really win as a bedside lamp - it's quite wobbly. The thickness also makes quite a bulge when the light is attached to a book, but it's also nicely rounded and smooth, so it really depends on how you're using the light.

The two arms are flexible so I can adjust the light to focus on different areas of the page or work surface. The clip is sturdy and the charging indicator is helpful to check battery life. I was frustrated by having to click each light six times to cycle from lowest to highest brightness and then to turn it off. I was unable to turn it off by holding the power button down because that cycles (three clicks) between various light temperatures by turning different LEDs on and off. So the light does work but is tedious to operate.

The lights on this thing are absolutely incredible! I still can't believe how bright they get & the 3 different color settings on top of varying brightness levels is more than I could have asked for.I'll be honest, the lowest brightness setting is probably enough for many people's reading needs. All the other, brighter levels just mean this can serve many purposes outside of just a reading light! I imagine I'll use this for a whole lot of little projects as well.I am genuinely impressed by this. From the brightness settings, to variability of colors, to the ease of use, down to the sheer size of the clamp itself - this thing has definitely surpassed my expectations.All in all, I am very satisfied with this!I have not used it enough to truly assess battery life yet (which I'm sure varies significantly based on light mode), but I will update if there are any issues with that.

Really a great little light to make reading at night easier! Can attach to the book so you can easily hold it up and allow you to read normally. Batteries last a long time, and nice to not have to have the full light on when reading before bed. Can just set it down and go to sleep when I'm ready without needing to get up and turn out the light!

The VEKKIA Book Lamp has become my go-to light to use while reading or writing in bed, and I own many book lights in a variety of brands to compare this one to. My favorite features of this lamp were:• Each of the adjustable arms operate independently of the other, including the option to only use one light as opposed to both.• The battery light indicator on the side of the lamp’s base.• The large clip that attached easily to my nearly 1” clipboard.• The ability to adjust the temperature of the light.I have also clipped this lamp to my laptop to provide needed light on video calls while in a dark room, and the effect was just as good as when I used a square selfie light – even more so because I was able to adjust each arm to an ideal position. I have no complaints about the VEKKIA Book Lamp and would recommend, especially for readers who frequently read at night.

This book light works great! I have poor eyesight and need good light to be able to read. Most lamps tend to cause migraines for my wife, so I haven't been able to read much until I tried this book light. It works great and is very convenient to use.
