My grandsons and I decorated Easter Egg. They had so much fun hiding them for several weeks after Easter and I can keep them until next year.

These are beautiful wood eggs, perfect shape, nice weight, and nicely finished. However, I wanted to watercolor paint on them. The finish was shiny and the paint beaded up and wiped off. So I used a coat of chalk paint. After drying fully, it took the watercolors well. However, if you look at the closeup, you can still see the brush strokes from the chalk paint on some of them. But I am pleased with the final project. Especially since the plastic paintable ones are all sold out everywhere! I would definitely buy these again.

I used pens to decorate the eggs for Easter egg hunt

I glittered most of my eggs and glued little buttons to the others.I was NOT able to just paint them and call them done, tho. The finish on these eggs will require more than 2 coats of regular craft paint. I don't know if better quality paint would've covered better or not.

Best deal on eggs for Easter, not only were these less expensive than the styrofoam, but will literally last forever! Great for diy, or for kids grandkids to color, paint, decoupage, etc….

We got these for kids too decorate eggs at an event. They are glossy and not much sticks to them.
