**UPDATE - 5.31.22 -> The seller sent out a new gateway and it's working as designed now. Their customer service is really great. I appreciate them staying in contact and on top of this for me.**I first want to say that the seller is very responsive and they do try to help. This is a product issue, not a customer service issue.Unfortunately, the gateway just doesn't work for me. They sent over a YouTube video and I followed it to the letter, but it's still not connecting for me. I bought the lock because I thought I'd be able to lock and unlock from where ever I am because I travel a lot for work and have several big dogs that I have to hire folks to take care of, and then find out that I can't unless I have the gateway. I buy the gateway and it still doesn't work.They've told me about a locking door handle, but that doesn't resolve the holes I've had to drill into my door to accommodate the lock. I'd have to buy a whole new door.I should've splurged at Home Depot or Lowe's for a lock rather than buying this one online.They mean well, but it shouldnt take this much work. Its just not acknowledging my lock on the gateway in the app.I've worked in tech hardware and now software and this just isn't working from my own personal experience. I'm sending all of it back as soon as I can find a replacement lock that doesn't require a gateway.

These are outstanding modules! At bare minimum, I would at least start out using the G2 or Gateway #2 Modules and work your way up from there or tailor it to what you need. But the G2 should work perfectly for any minimum (meaning 10 or less RFID Locks). Any more than that, I’d consider moving up a series at least.

The door lock works great! Haven’t had any problems, easy to install and program! Works great with Alexa !

wORST INSTRUCTIONS EVER FOR A TECH PRODUCT. i STILL CANT GET APP TO WORK WITH LOCK, AND TOOK A COUPLE OF HOURS TO DICPHER THE IDEA ABOUT TO INSTALL DEVICE ITSELF. I NEED HELP, OR IM RETURNING. CLONGWILL@GMAIL IF U WISH TO GET THE SALE HOPEFULLY?

Installation was very easy - everything I needed was in the box including the right size drill bit (for the mounting screw) and a small philips head screwdriver. I have already programmed a few codes, including a separate one for the maintenance crew of my building. I like the record history of what code was used (and when) to access the locked door. I purchased the separate Wi-Fi gateway and that was easy to pair with the lock and setup voice control with my Alexa (I bought the Wi-Fi gateway so I can remotely access the Lock)

If you have a Bluetooth device, you need tgis bridge to hook them up to your wifi.
