My nieces and nephews were coming to visit and I wanted to purchase some outdoor acrylic paints for them to paint birdhouses. I looked at multiple reviews on Amazon and on Google for outdoor acrylic paints. These are nice paints to use because they are non-toxic and I would not want kids to use anything other than these. I narrowed it down to this brand and the ones from ARTEZA, and there are many brands to chose from. Both of these sets have a wide variety of colors, but each set has colors to chose from that were different from the other brand. There were colors I wanted that each set provided that the other set did not. I couldn’t decide which one to buy and I wanted them to have all of the colors that they would want to chose from, so I bought both sets. I am very pleased that I did, since I can now use them to paint other things that I have been wanting to paint, such as tables on the porch and repainting my address number on my mailbox. This is why I bought these more expensive sets that have a higher quality instead of the cheaper brands, which had mixed reviews. Many of the cheaper sets even talked about colors being dried out when they received them. Both sets came in excellent condition. None of the paints were dried out and I have no complaints about either set. They basically have no smell so they were able to paint inside once I placed a cheap plastic protective tablecloth cover on the table. You can purchase a sealant if you want to, but these outdoor paints are supposed to hold up outside for a long time and you can touch them up if you need to. You don’t want to put a sealant on a birdhouse, because it is apparently not healthy for the birds. This paint can dry pretty quickly so you don’t want to squeeze out too much on your palette at a time. In fact, the birdhouses were completely dry in 24 hours. The paint came out of the paint brushes easily and off the kid’s hands. I had purchased men’s small white t-shirts for the kids to wear to paint. About an hour after they were done, I put them in the washer with some bleach and half of the shirts came out perfectly. Half of the shirts still had paint on them. This is what I purchased these shirts for and I will use them again the next time they paint a craft. These acrylic paints are not for fabric, however. There are special paints for this or an additive you can use to mix with these paints from what I understand for this. I highly recommend both of these sets and I know you will be glad you purchased them. Since I have never used paints before for a craft, I researched and read many different articles about what type of paint to even use. I am proud of myself for getting it right since I wanted to do something fun with the kids that they would remember.

I like the paint once I've cut thru the seal with a box cutter! A little on the thick side. But so far, seems very durable.

I ordered this paint to use on a tiny library. I wanted something with some UV protection so that the paint wouldn't fade over time. These paints come in small bottles like other craft paints, but they are definitely thicker and much more opaque, so they are great on that point. The problem is the colors. First off, this set of 30 is missing some very basic colors, like a true red or a dark blue. If you have the primary colors, you can at least make other colors that you need. However, the only dark blue is a navy blue and it has a lot of grey in it so there's no way to make it bright like a royal blue. As for red, there's a color called Candy Apple but it's a coral color. Even the Maroon paint is basically just a darker coral color. The Dark Purple is a medium purple at best and Magenta is bubble gum pink, not dark like magenta should be. You can't make those colors darker. If you add black, they get darker but greyed out. And there are a variety of greens, but no true bright grass green. And you can't even make that color because you don't have a good blue. I don't know who came up with the palette of colors in the this set, but they definitely don't know anything about color theory.I wish I had known this before I bought these, but they don't show a color chart in their product photos so when you see the bright colored bottles at the front of the first photo, you think that all of the colors will be bright and vibrant. Unfortunately, they aren't. Those ones in the front row are basically all the bright colors. Here's the thing: it's easy to use grey and white paint to make a color more subdued, but you can't make it brighter so it's best to give people those colors and let them change them if necessary. Since the painting I'm doing on the tiny library has a lot of bright colors in it, these just won't work for me.This is a good quality paint but the color selection is just not good, so they will be going back. Hopefully the company sees this and changes the colors because they have a good formula. Different colors and this would be a great set of UV paints.

Used on garden decorations left outside 365 in Canadian weather. No fading or issues. Applies well on material. Expensive but good quality. Nice variety of colours.
