Got this wire too hookup some strobes, and othe LED's and even speakers. I ran them underhood, seem too be holding up too heat and daily driving, w/ them running 12volts too my fog/drl daily.. The stranded copper inside is nothing special. Not too thick/hard, not too soft weak. Hold up pretty well once spliced and or solder'd and tugged on.. Thick enuf too actually splice with you fingers. The outside coating, is OK-.. but a bit more of a plastic(hard) then vinly/rubber.. But they strip clean, and stay in place ok. The 2x wire combo is great for speakers and or lights were you need 2wires. ie: a + & ground ran.. When you pull them apart, the red leaves a bit of a stripe on thre black, but isnt a big deal too me.. Great wire too get a project up and working. Ok for lower amp stuff. Or and speakers etc in cab, in house.

I needed it for my record player speakers and it worked perfectly

The wire was long enough to do what I needed but thought that it would be a little bigger.
