TevaMen's Winsted S Sports and Outdoor Sandal

The sole is hard enough to not feel stones when walking. Was surprised to find back strap is fixed I think to accommodate heel pad so OK. My feet are wide but these can accommodate and were comfortable for walking about 3 miles on first outing. I suspect not for hiking but fine for that distance. Remind me of a set of Reefs I had years ago but which are no longer made in this quality. Extremely pleased to have found these with quality I would have expected to pay more for.

I've worn Tevas for over 30 years. The basic ones have looked after me in numerous overseas trips and no matter what the environment (let's exclude the winter snow one), they have done the job. I wore out my last pair walking around Disney, where they were just fantastic. In that hot environment they excel. You do end up with 'Teva Tan' where your foot bears the distinctive lines from the straps, but you will not be disappointed. The size is as per your shoe.

I love Teva sandals and have always been a great fan. I bought these to replace the same style that I had ten years ago. The sandals were still structurally fine but there was no bounce left in the sole. The new sandals fit great and have generous Velcro straps which work brilliantly. The only thing missing from the same style of ten years ago is the padding where the straps meet your toes. I do miss this and my toes are currently sore - although they may toughen up after a few weeks! Never had this problem before. But still the best sandals I have ever bought!

Just a very brief word to say that TEVA's are by far my favourite sandles.The Winsted sandles were priced at about half of the other thick-soled Teva sandles so I was a little dubious about that would arrive. The only reason to get new ones is that my old ones fell apart after 16 years of constant wear.I am delighted. They are plane grey which is actually much nicer, I think than the patterned ones. The sole is as good as the more expensive ones and the red on the sole makes them quite striking. They are less hippy-looking than some on the other Teva sandles.The fit very well, are super comfortable and I am delighted to have found replacements for my old ones with the same quality but about half the price.Recommended - much cheaper than others and just the same quality!!

I felt very unsure that this was actually a TEVA product although it arrived in a TEVA box - the quality was not there and the straps were so short that they hardly met once my foot was in the sandal. Horrible rubber smell as well.The trader was good and sent on time and although I had to pay return postage - always off-putting since shoes have to be tried on - they refunded my money straight away.

In replacement of my 20 year old Tevas, much lighter. I have not yet hiked with them so cannot tell how they fare on long distance and rough terrain. Biking for one hour at a time did not meet with issues.

Just the bast sandals money can buy, especially at this price.You can drive in them, scoot, and walk the roughest ground. Not affected by fresh or salt waterMy other half and my daughter now have Tevas as well.They last for YEARS.

From opening the box they were a perfect fit. So comfortable. I took them to the coast and walked several miles in and out of the surf, they didn't fail to impress. They are so comfortable I have just ordered a pair for a family member. The quality of the footwear and prompt service guaranteed a second and possibly third purchase.
