Each book #1, #2 & #3 have 3-4 page Chapters with 3 questions asking the reader how each one would respond to Jesus challenges in today's world. Very Thought Provoking !!!! Loved them all !!

I wish I could personally thank Dallas Jenkins (and also Amanda Jenkins and Kristen Hendricks) who are so clearly sold out to, and in love with Jesus. I would thank them for the TV series and this devotion book. Their intention in the series and the book is that "we can go deeper" and "not only so we can experience Jesus the way His followers did, but also so you can change and grow the way they did" . . . They are "compelled to show and tell in order to revive your passion for Scripture and the One who inspired it." This devotion book is VERY well written. And the prayer at the end is not a prayer written by the authors, but rather a "prayer focus" compelling you to pray your own prayer.It's simple and not complex. But, yet, draws you closer to our beloved Savior.Buy it.

Great daily reading with my wife. We saw the movies so these fit in.

This is a very well written devotional and a great way to feel closer to Jesus. Got an extra one for my mom as a birthday gift, since she is obsessed with The Chosen too.

That's the sort of thing that makes me wonder, how can it be that Dallas Jenkins is such an awesome full package christian thinker. To me it's outstanding to read this book and be marvelous about the perspective Dallas and his wife were able to deliver. As if The Chosen wasn't AWESOME and revolutionary enough.I cannot recommend this ENOUGH. It should be taught in churches all over the world!

I'm working through this for Lent and am really enjoying it. It's written in an easy-going style, as if a friend was talking to you. Very down to earth. Good use of humour while getting a serious point across. I'll be buying the next ones too & would highly recommend it.
