Organic Almonds, 8 Pounds - Raw, No Shell, Unpasteurized

I really liked the first 3 bags of these almonds. They were fantastic and I loved being able to get large bags instead of the smaller bags. The last two bags have been of lower quality and I have been forced to sort through them to get rid of some bad almonds. It wasn’t a great deal but enough that I needed to sort. I’m using these almonds to make Christmas gifts of smoked almonds. Pretty embarrassing if bad almonds are mixed in.

Perfect to make my almond milk. Packed in 4 cup amounts and vacuum sealed and frozen to stay fresh till I need them.

Almonds are relatively large, medium to light-coloured and are quite tasty.

Used for snacking, smoothies, treats, etc.

I purchase almonds and cashews from this seller frequently in 8 and 10 pound bags. I have not had any problem with quality of taste in the past .This purchase was something I did not expect. I made almond butter with them, the taste was as if they are going bad so I threw it all out. I got up the next morning and took one almond out of the bag, it felt like there was dirt still on it and the color of the skin was darker than usual. I held it under water and rubbed it until the grit rinsed off. It still tasted as if it were going bad. I read the label and this bag was labeled as " Italian organic almonds" The picture of the back of the 8 pound bag that is shown at the top of this page simply states "Raw unpasteurized organic almonds " It is unfortunate I have received "Italian organic almonds" that I now need to throw out. I shall ask the seller for replacement keeping in mind that these are not returnable it appears that $86.50 will be flushed down the drain. Be aware . UPDATE 11/10/2019 Contacted seller to explain problem , they have issued a return label ( prepaid) . They will take the bag bag back even though it is open and will issue a full refund. I need to rate this company as a 5 star just for this !! The nuts are not as lucky .

Assuming what i received is what was listed this was fantastic. The almonds were fresh and tasty. The only thing is i always question any good deal on organics as i have to wonder just how far they're bending the word organic. The bag did have a good ziploc like seal which seems to be keeping everything fresh and the product arrived very promptly.

I buy these big bags because I like to make my own almond milk. I've bought two now and I've never seen a bad nut. Always fresh and delicious. I really like that they're organic too!

Very fresh and delicious. They make wonderful almond milk and are good to eat right out of the bag. I will be ordering more as soon as I need more.

Received these today. This is the second large order we've made and we were very happy with the other 8-pounder also.

No complaints. The almonds tasted fresh and sweet. As expected with spanish almonds, there were a few bitter ones, but very few. I've re-ordered these almonds at least 6 times over the past year and found the quality to be consistently excellent.
